Commitment to Survivors in Łódź, Poland / Wsparcie osób dotkniętych Holocaustem w Łodzi
In November 2021, we launched the “PoMoc & Kontakt” project. As part of the project, we will support Holocaust survivors living in Łódź – individuals from the Association of “Children of the Holocaust” and those born before 1945.
In collaboration with volunteers, we will provide two years of support for 15 individuals in their daily household tasks, as well as organize joint activities for them: meetings, workshops, film screenings, guided tours, and more.
We also plan to make a documentary film about Holocaust survivors living in Łódź who wish to share their stories.
The project is funded by the EVZ Foundation (Stiftung Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft).
